Hi guys, I've finally managed to work out how to resize my pictures, so here are some of my latest works.

Here is a captain conversion, Elladan and Elrohir

Here is Gildor, Glorfindel and Haldir.

None of them are finished, as I am still waiting for Reikland Fleshshade to do the hair and am waiting until then to finish off the rest of them

Here are the first models I ever painted. Boromir, Gimli and some Rohan warriors.

I know that my painting is not very good at all (I forgot to mention this in earlier posts). I just wanted to share my work with you. Lots of constructive criticism is welcome.

Here is my entire 1500pts elf army. Most of it is not painted, and most of the ones that are painted were not painted by me. That's how I bought them.

I haven't really had much time lately to paint, but my exams finish at the end of next week, so I'll have more time after that and maybe I'll even have enough time to create a gameboard (all of my current matches have to be played away)

May you long continue to march victoriously into Mordor.
There may be some room for slight improvement, that only means you will get better. What is more important is that you are out there getting it done.
Great stuff.

Fantastic early pieces dude! My recommendations would be to continue using spray undercoat (I can see you have one some and not on others), thin your paints a little with water (it stops the paint looking 'sludgy' when it dries, which obscures the detail) and do some bases. I normally put sand on the base with PVA glue before spraying the model, then I paint the sand to tie it in with the whole piece!

There's lots of fantastic videos on youtube on various techniques, such as thinning your paints. You're looking for the consistency of cream rather than a 'gel' as it comes straight out of the pot.

The conversions are spot on, fantastic work considering a few weeks ago, you were asking how to start converting. Small, simple conversions are the best thing to start with.

I think you should paint the skin lighter - that istoo dark for elves imo.

Quite niec considering I think that you are new to this :yay:

Looking pretty good.

If you wanted to improve a bit quick the fastest way to improve the overall look would be to use some washes to bring out the folds and give some more contrast.

I find Reikland Fleshade that you have on order will be the best for elves, nuln oil will bring it out too dark, i use fleshshade a lot on my galadhrim elves. Also a dark green shade for your rohan / elladan - elrohir. Dark blue shade (can't remember all the names sorry) for your high elves and boromir.

Clothing....

The cloaks are the best things to try and wash / highlight instantly make the model look a lot better. I'm also goign to try a fleshshade wash on my gold armour so you can try that too if you fancy it. Depends on what effect you want with your chainmail but i washed mine with drakenhof nightshade (blue effect)

A whole wash of delvin mud after touching up the paint splatters will look a lot better. Still good for a beginner :yay:

Never tried Agrax Earthshade, however, I like to think my elves look rather dashing in Nuln Oil/Badab Black.

A second tip: get a lighter flesh colour, this one is rather much too dark. Very good overall, though. I really like the cloth colour on the Rohirrim

I couldn't tell you, really. I personally use Italeri - which is hopeless. Maybe ask your store staff? Or I'm sure someone else buys GW skin tones...
