As some of you may know, I started an Elven army not too long ago.

After years of collecting Dwarfs, I decided to give the pointy ears some love too and going from dark, cold colours to more colourful, bright colours. The bases in particular are a huge difference.

I did some previous work on my Elves, which can be seen in my Khazad-Dum WIP (http://www.one-ring.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=19749&start=280), but decided it was time to give them their own place in our humble community.

Pictures appear darker than in real life, photobucket did not let me save all the lightdifferences I gave the picuture.

Also got my hands on some Legolas miniatures. My favourite is the one on the right for some reason. Unfortunately.. I screwed up on the face a bit. I still need some training when it comes to painting skin...

And last but not least, mother and erm.. Son? Daughter? I don't know.. Spiders! (Hence the name of the title)

Very creepy spiders! I love the white lines on the edges of the legs.

I have been working on some more models, including some Galadhrim knights which I'll enter in this month's painting challenge. Second rider is completed too by now, but no pics taken yet!
