I tooks some pics a while ago and finally decided to post them.

I collect models way faster that i can paint them and have built a bit of a collection, all in bvaries staages of being painted.

Currently I am focused on the fellowship but that may change next week!

I present to you my folly, also known as my WIP. :)

3 trolls for the price of 1.

I don't like left over pieces. So when i got the isengard/mordor troll box i took a mould of the body, used some type of model cement i was given (plain plastic bag no brand name on it) and bang. 3 bodies to stick all the arms and heads on.I still need a couple of bases but cardboard will do for now.

Really like the finished ones. Saruman is great! Also like the red Gondor, nice change from the standard black. And Galadriel's hair...!!! 8)

Thanks. I like having a theme with a warband so painted them red to match boromir. Really pulls them together ad a unit. I intend to do a couple with green shields to fit in with ranger faramir.

Nice painting, especially the uruk-hai.

I like what you did with the trolls, was it hard to mould them?

it was the first time i had ever done anything like it.

It was a bit tricky as i had to do the body in two halves.

The finished product had some air bubbles and the toes were missing. The two halves also needed a bit of filler to join together.

It wasn't a perfect job but I was happy with the results
