Recognise this bad boy ?  Sculpted by our very own Sun of Fundin aka Bennett. He has given me the honour of painting this figure and I am impressed with his work. Lets not forget this lad is only 16 and is sculpting at a level way beyond me at 45 !!! I am sure he has a wonderful future in store in the sculpting world but lets not forget one other thing - I painted the first Bennett sculpt. And here he is so far, very much a WIP.

Congrats !  ,eh, is the topic title meant to be 'Beserker' to differentiate from the uruk 'berserker' or just a small spelling mistake?

Thanks for the responce. I think this may be a spelling mistake but it does make it different to the Uruk version. |

Heres a brief update of where I am. Still feeling my way around the figure, sketching here and there but I seem to be heading along something I am happy with.   The photos are over exposed and have not made the dark areas as dark as they are. The tattoos have not come out well. I'm hoping for a good day tomorrow and could have the painting near finished, with any luck. Im still not decided on a colour for the inner cloak/wolf hide. I've still got the leather and boots to do, then some bits of tidying here and there. |

if the sculptor is interested in casting and selling these I'd deff love one! The old Dunland list for Legions of Middle Earth teased Dunlending Beserkers, this guy would be perfect! |

Wow awesome! The sculpt is really really good (I can see more details now that he is painted) and you have certainly done it justice!

Indeed. a very good job on this guy. Your paint job really does bring out the best in this already great sculpt. I also think that the base is perfectly suited to him. |

Many thanks to each of you that has responded. I know Bennett is delighted and I am too, it has been a great project to work on together. Who knows, rivals to Dave and Kevs crown ? |

I'm not usually a fan of non lotr models but this is pretty cool. Love the base especially. |
