41 figures in 7 evenings was the challenge set by the client and fortunately I hit it. The standard had to be cut down but all in all they came out pretty good considering the time scale.

Apologies for the poor photos but everything had to be quick on this job !!!

This does give an idea of a quick turnaround job for those interested, please feel free to drop me a mail if you are interested, more details of which are on my blog.

I noticed on your blog that you used Army Painter Quickshade to dip them, did you have to spray them with anti-shine afterwards? Every time I use their bigger tins of shade, the figures come out too shiny. Bad batch of shade or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, you must spray with anti shine, it makes the world of difference. You can't use one without the other

Good job on the Elves especially considering the time frame. I swear by Anti-Shine, I always matt varnish by hand followed up with the stuff.

Thanks Phil.
I personally prefer to hand paint but the time restriction was such that I went for my back up option.
