Hithero, very nice pics indeed! Do you write somewhere in the internet on your WotR Historical?

How was the the GT?

Hi stranger. The GT was as expected, poor turnout full of cheesy, power-gaming armies. The ancients rules are my own creation and have a LOTR version underway, let me know if you want a set of rules.

Is "Ancients" the WotR-based rules set I think I remember reading you writing about? How's the LotR-like version? Skirmish game with basic LotR system but more applicable to other worlds? Sounds interesting.

We tried using WOTR but its to slow and clumsy for my liking so I wrote my own rules which allow turns of just 7 minutes in that game! and completion in 2 1/2 hours. I'm also now testing a verion to play lotr battles with the ancients rules.
