Certainly did, haven't had the chance to look through them yet though (heck, I haven't even ready the rule book yet!)

You mean the Firefly figures? Yes they are some of the best I've seen.

I have finally got hold of my sedition wars figures and I'm really impressed with the quality. The huge number of them in the biohazard set even before the wave 2 arrives is a little intimidating being more than I would normally paint in a year and I still have zombicide 2 and dead zone to look forward to. I'll have to learn how to paint a lot , lot faster.

I am getting my eyes tested too - new reading/short distance glasses required. I hate wearing them but I have no option.

Try the head band mounted magnify glasses.

I have a big angle-poise lamp style magnifier with a daylight lamp. The only problem is remembering to give enough clearance for the wooden end of the brush.
I am not blind as a bat up close, just not as sharp as I should be but age and years of staring at the crappy miserable little screens my employer deems sufficient for my work have dropped me from being one of the sharpest sighted to below average at close range (under three feet, so reading, typing and painting distances). Medium and long range still good.

Well I'm as blind as a bat past 2ft but still wear my glasses up close, after years of having them on all the time they don't seem to want to focus when I take them off :)
The wave two minis do indeed look gorgeous, can't wait to get my hands on them.

I have to take my glasses off to paint. Or I can focus right.

I received the last batch of minis today - the sculpts are fantastic. I need to get some time to look through all of it - all I did was check the inventory and peruse some of the sculpts in passing. The painting DVD is in there along with card decks. I can use some of these for double duty in Deadzone so it was very handy getting the doubles of everything :)

Still waiting on mine but the Deadzone potential for the minis is great indeed :)

Arms of Sorrow is the name of the second game - some of the minis have been seen but still waiting on the real thing turning up.
Hopefully they tweak the rules a bit too.
The best bit is, you can play Sedition Wars minis as surrogates in Deadzone!
