"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us"

The Titans Wargames Club in London brings you "The Titan's Bane" War of the Ring Event.

Hopefully the first of many, this GT is run in the style of a tournament, only in the sense of scoring points for winning and drawing, but it is meant to be more of a GT for WotR enthusiasts. There is no prize at the end, other than a certificate of attendance for all.

Armies are 1,500 points with no restrictions (to keep it simple) and, in the interest of theme and fun! there are bonus points awarded for having only 1-2 Epic heroes, or for using a character with the "Bane" special rule amongst other things.

Please visit The Titan's Forum thread here: http://z10.invisionfree.com/The_Titans/index.php?showtopic=513 for more details.

Hope you can make it!

All the best
Chris

Interesting... even though I don't really play WotR anymore I might be able to get there for a day. Sign me in. I'm probably playing Misty Mountains.

Oh and you can't really call a 1 day non-tournament a GT ;)

GT = Get Together. It's going to be a pretty relaxed event.

So will that be the Misty Mountains/Overlord/Mumak combo? Or a pure MM list?

Would you mind terribly registering on our forum and put a reply on the event thread?

Cheers
Chris

I'll have pure Mist Mountains with just 2 Epic Heroes. If I go I won't go there to win, so no point in the Mumak/Gothmog :)

So we have a few people signed up already. Hoping to fill some more places though...

Hey, I'm not gonna make it to this WotR event. I found a SBG tournament much closer to my location, so if I attend anything, that one is more likely, as I prefer LotR over WotR. Sorry!

That's a pitty, understandable though.

I think I'll be there :)

With my trusty Isengarders as per the Throne of Skulls with some tweaks... Or My new experimental Angmar list... or a Misty Mountain List oozing with big monsters (no Mumak!)

Decisions... decisions

Dear all

As was somewhat expected, this event hasn't proved to be very popular, but it would be great to get just one more player along on Sunday, for even numbers.

It will be an exciting day as the club is also running a Warhammer tournament with 14+ players and there will be 40k going on as well, so the hall will be buzzing with wargamers!

Hope you can make it!

All the best,
Chris
