Hey folks,
I was at a con this weekend with a ton of terrain that I made recently and had a number of people ask what I did to make it. Here's a quick guide on the type of materials, paint and techniques I used. Hopefully it's helpful for those of you who want to venture into building your own terrain.

Thanks. I suppose a hairdryer will create a similar effect as well if you don't have access to a heatgun. Happy terrain making!

That actually looks really good. I have made some Rocky Hills but nothing as big as that. I might want to try that now....

that rock is nicely done, but i'm more interested in the
huge hobbit hole in the background. That technique
with aheat gun might be worth trying.
