If anyone's had a chance to look at the August WD, they have a new Gardens of Morr terrain kit. Might be useable for mordor, after trimming the warhammer junk away. Anyway, the paint jobs for that kit are spectacular, as are the paint jobs pictured in the SBG cavalry article for the ruins of osgiliath, and I'm particularly interested in how they did a couple things:

1. some of the ruins and Garden pieces have a greenish cast representing mold or lichen...is this a green wash or drybrush? It looks too subtle to be the latter.
2. the Garden piece with the statue on it has stones of various colours. Any ideas what sequence of colours were used on each stone?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks...
