Hi All,

I wanted to extend the walls either side of the original citadel set, i.e make more wall sections.

I've pretty much sorted the paint scheme know about scoring lines to make the brickwork etc.

I wanted to know what is the best material used, I've been looking into the pink polystyrene blocks but unsure. Also getting the paint, spray paint, material or paste used to get the stone texture near enough to the original set?

Kind Regards,
:aragorn:

High density foam will do the job or you could get brick moulds and use plaster.

My main reason for replying is to say - do NOT spray the foam: it WILL dissolve.

If you use a high density foam you will need to coat it in polyfilla to create some rigidity, otherwise the foam won't last. Score the lines into the filla to create the stones. When the filla is partly dry, press a scouring pad to create the surface texture.
