Hey :)

I'm going to be starting work on my goblin town scenery soon, and was just wondering what colours to use to drybrush the wood? Preferably I'd just like to use straight out of the pot colours.

Cheers :)

As an extra touch mix up a darkish green paint and heavily water it down to about 4 parts water 1 part paint. Now apply this to create some moss like discolouring. Make sure you take the excess off your brush before applying.

No worries about the old paint names DMS. Would I be able to undercoat black first, then heavily drybrush the bestial brown?

And @Gandalf the Grey, I understand what you mean (and I actually have a full pot of the old green wash), but would that suit goblin town terrain?

yes i don't see why not. it would be a very dark wood but should work fine.

I see goblin terrain as dark and damp so I see no reason not to. Some may have different viewpoints but the final choice is yours.

I use Mournfang Brown with a black wash for my Goblin spear shafts, bows and shields (if I convert them.) For Goblin Town scenery, I would also give it a good highlight.
