Never played a WOTR game....

Would it possible for me to field this Mordor army in a WOTR game?

- WitchKing, Dwimmerlaik, Tainted, ShadowLord, KnightofUmbar, Khamul, Betrayer, Undying, Dark Marshall (all on horseback).
- Mouth of Sauron (horse).
- Gothmog (warg)
- 5 Mordor Trolls, a drummer troll and a troll chieftain.
- 100 Mordor Orcs.
- 4 Mordor Siege Bows.
- 3 Mordor Taskmasters & Drummer.
- Orc Sharman.
- 2 Mordor Orc Command.
- 24 Morgul Knights. (mounted).

I want to get in to the playing aspect as so far I've only collected them. Do the rules permit a force this big?
Also, if above allowed, what advice would you give on perhaps adding anything to this force or how to position it on the battlefield?

In War of the Ring everything is split into units so it's not as clear cut as taking 100 Orcs, you would have to split them into companies and then formations etc. Your best bet is to buy or download the War of the Ring book and have a read through 'cause you won't understand anything you are told here otherwise.

There you have around 1500 already and the game is played on average 1000-2000pts, so yeah you have more than enough to make a WotR army.

Here's a list you could use, but you'd have to count the Mordor orcs as morannon orcs.

The Nine Abroad(500)
(Individually, they'd be worth 1200 points)
Mouth of Sauron (100)
Gothmog (110)

Common
2x6 Morgul Knights (common beacuse of the dark marshal) (420)

Rare
2x2 Siegebows (200)

Battlehost: Black Legion of Mordor (75)
4 Companies of Morannon Orcs w/ shields, cpt + banner (165)
4 Companies of Morannon Orcs w/ shields, cpt + banner (165)
4 Companies of Morannon Orcs w/ shields, cpt + banner (165)
Trolls 300
Troll Drummer 150
Troll Chieftain 200

TOTAL: 2550. You can drop a captain, for an even 2500. If you take the ringwraiths individually, it boosts the list up to 3250 points.

You'd have to count all of the orcs as morannon orcs, so you can use the black legion battlehost. Otherwise you don't have enough common formations to include all of the trolls and seigebows. Unless you took formations that were 2 companies big, but that isn't such a good idea.

The only real way to include all the trolls, without bulking up on orcs/wargs, is to take battlehosts. You could take the gorgoroth hoarde battlehost, which uses all of your orcs. But then, you could only take 2 trolls, without splitting the morgul knights up into smaller formations. Yet another option, is to buy a catapault, and then you can take the Siege Lords battlehost, which uses Mordor orcs, gothmog, trolls, and siege bows. Last option is taking the Morgul Knight battlehost, but that would get rid of your common choices.

Wow. I like that one. Battlehosts looks to really add some nice army building variety (and I still have 4 days before I can pick mine up  ). But WOW that's a big force. :? I'd love to see just that Troll and Nazgul groups together, much less the companies of Morannon running you down.

Deldagnir: Taking the Nine Abroad Legendary Formation is probably the only way you're going to get all those Nazgul on the board at one time in most games. You do loose some the flexibility that Epic Heroes bring and you may loose all or most of their specific special abilities (Legendary Formations usually have unique special abilities that may or may not be similar to their Epic Hero counterparts). I don't have my book right now so I can't say for sure. But I believe you'll find the Nine as a Legendary Formation is still going to scare most opponents.
