I've had this idea on and off for a few days, but I decided to spend a few moments thinking seriously about it.

The general principles I've come up with so far is:

The F value is a direct modifier. You add the F value to the attack roll.
So the warrior rolls to fight. The F4 human warrior rolls 1d6, adds 4. The F3 enemy rolls 1d6 adds 3. Highest wins the fight. Winner strikes, as per the WOTR wound table. Saves time, represents an easier calculation.

Epic Hero profiles are based on the most common formation, unless it should be obviously otherwise. (Eomer, Eowyn, Theoden are all Riders of Rohan, upgraded; Boromir is a Warrior of Minas Tirith. Aragorn is a Ranger of the Grey Company. Faramir is a Ranger of Gondor)

Fights involving four of more combatants on either side, use the normal WOTR resolution methods.

What would you add?

8) Nice idea! Although i might suggest halving the Fight value before adding it to the dice roll. Otherwise, you would end up with very high numbers. For instance, say formation A has a Fight value of 5,even if i roll a 1's they come out with a load of 6's.
Hope that makes sense :)

And in the case of a odd number such as 3,round up.Because you obviously couldn't have 1 1/2 dice.So it would come out to 2.

I was also thinking that if the F value for an individual model is higher than his opponent, the model with the higher F gets another attack dice.

Keeps the buckets of dice aspect to a minimum. F is far less important in WOTR than in the SBG, I notice.

That would work to. F value really is not imoprtant in WotR,or at least not as important as it is on SBG.I like the idea of making it a bigger factor inthe out come of a fight.
