Post subject:  conversion heavy numenor army
I used to play 40k but I wanted to play WOTR and now I am. I've always liked the start of the first movie so I decided to do a numenorion army. I also like converting things so I've desided to do it a lot. The logical choises for leaders are Elendel and Isuldor(mounted see why later), so I will have them. the core will be warriors of numenor and some rangers. And I'm thinking about converting some knights of Minis Tirith and keep the stats. Also this is stupid but I'm thinking of taking riders of rohan and mixing them with some rangers :twisted: . What do you guys think.

Right now im torn between a bunch of different things, a few different armies in 40k, saving my money to expand on the 40k armies i already have (necrons + tau... yeah i know -.-), and starting wotr. But, if i ever did start Wotr, i would do a conversion heavy High Elf army, because i too really love the first scene of the movie.

The problem with elves is that they only have 1 cavalry unit, so alot of people convert some from riders of rohan... so if you mean that you wanted to do mounted rangers, then that sounds like a cool thing.

I dont have anyone to playtest it with, but i was writing new rules for all the conversions i planned to make.

in WotR you can mix 3rd age units with 2nd age heroes. just keep the paint scheme unified and i think that should be good. so i would field womt as well as komt as is. if you want, you could even field skoda.

i am ok with you mixing rohan riders but i don't think it would be necessary as both komt and skoda are plastics and easy to convert should you choose.

That's what we thought you meant... KoMT would be easy to convert into Numenorians.
