If you were to put one wraith on a fellbeast, which would it be and why? So many of the the wraith's abilities give bonuses to the formation it is with, which then limits it, if it's by itself on an fellbeast... I look forward to your replies. [This is obviously for WOTR] |

I've only used two so far, the Shadowlord and Khamul. Khamul annoys opponents due to his ability to ignore hits, the Shadowlord is kept safe from most shooting as he goes across the board too as that is the greatest threat to him before combat. |

The Witch King of Angmar, although I think he's absoutely terrible and way overcosted compared to the others (which is probably actually where they are drastically undercosted). He has the worst set of rules out of all of the 'wraiths, IMO, but is the only one (from memory) that is worth having on his own because if you have himon foot behind your formations, you have to have a formation at the back for no reason... |

I've played vs. Khamul and can say he is very hard to kill on a Fellbeast. |

khamul is hard to kill on a fell beast, but in a 6c formation he is MUCH better, the formation becomes alot harder to kill, and cause of tons of reflected hits you kill everything the dark marshal is good cause then his inspiring leader is where ever you need it (same with this fight bonus) the witch king is terrible to begin with, but if you were to take him it would have to be on a fell beast or you couldnt really use his rule the dwimmerlaik is also good cause you can postion him really well the tainted is the best on a fell beast, you can get him into the best position to make use of his rule khamul and the shadowlord are terrible choices to put on a fell beast. the only reason you would use them and not other nazgul is cause they are harder to kill then, but if you use them right then they wont get killed in the first place... just have them behind you lines or simply use something to block los, when you want to cast magic you move them in a gap btwn formations, cast magic, then move back behind.... |
