| Post subject: | Pelennor Fields Scenario |
I'm coming up with a new scenario based around the Pelennor Fields, the basics of which can be applied to any major battle. Standard gameplay rules are followed but every formation destroyed, victory points are assigned from the "chart" shown below. The good army must have Gandalf the White, Merry, Pippin, The Three Hunters, Eomer, Eowyn, Theoden, The Grey Company and Court of the Dead King, and then 1250pts taken from Gondor & Arnor and the Kingdom of Rohan. The evil army must have Gothmog, Suladan, The Witch King on fell beast, at least 4 other Nazgul (some must be winged), Amdur, at least 1 Mumak and 1500pts from Mordor and the Fallen Realms. I'm not entirely sure if this is balanced but the Epic Hero "bounty hunter" chart is what the scenario is all about, so here it is: Award the assigned amount of VP to the other player for each of these destroyed, most VP wins. Common formation up to 6 comps-1 VP Rare formation/common formation 7-9 comps-2 VP Legendary formation (non-compulsory)-4 VP The Three Hunters-8 VP Gandalf-5 VP Merry-2 VP Pippin-2 VP Eomer-3 VP Eowyn-3 VP Theoden-2 VP The Grey Company-5 VP Court of the Dead King-5 VP Gothmog-5 VP Witch King-6 VP Other winged Nazgul-4 VP Other epic hero Nazgul-3 VP Suladan-3 VP Amdur-3 VP Each Mumak-3 VP Any thoughts? |
