Welcome to the October Painting Challenge. This month will be ......

Image

This will be a single miniature challenge. Acceptable entries in order of preference.
1. Dunlending - either wild or armoured
2. Saruman OR Grima
3. Uruk Hai (If absolutely stuck)

1. To enter the painting challenge, the miniature you are painting must not be painted before starting and picture proof must be shown of the miniature 'pre-painted' (unprimed, undercoated or if you are repainting and old miniature - in its' original paint scheme) otherwise your entry will not be eligible.

2. You may join the painting challenge in progress at any time, but must submit photographs of the completed miniature by midnight GMT of Oct 31st 2016. WIP images are welcomed and encouraged. A maximum of 4 photos per model of your completed entries please, this allows you to show your miniatures off from front, back and each side which is more than enough. If you would like to compile more than four pictures into one file it is ok to do that

Pictures of completed models must be submit using a third party hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack. Pictures submit by attachment will not be eligible for the vote. Any problems PM me.

3. Miniatures that are completed in time will be eligible to win the challenge. The challenge winner will be decided by the vote of the OR community. The community will choose one winner and one runner-up from the completed miniatures. Votes should be cast not simply on painting skill, but on merit, including creativity, application of painting techniques, artist improvement, etc. There is no prize available for the winners of this challenge, the challenge is solely for community participation and as an incentive for people to reduce their backlog and improve their painting skills.

4. With the introduction of The League Winners from the previous month are now eligible to enter and win consecutive challenges without penalty.

Good luck and have fun!

I just started on this one and realised that I didn't show a picture yet.
I hope it's still fine for people to have me enter with this since I only primed it and added 2 base colours, but all of that has been done today.

On a side note: Unfortunately I don't have any Dunland models, but I'm waiting on a Saruman to arrive soon. If I manage to still paint him on time I'll replace this entry with the Saruman since it seems more fitting to the theme.

I was not going to participate this month because I've been so busy but yesterday at night I decided to paint one of the Dunlands... and this morning I finished the base...

I hope you like it.
