A new game is coming. And its based on Star Wars Battlefront I and II and has the makers of it working on it. This is the game i've been waiting for....... for a very long time..............and its coming soon.

Ooo, I heard about that!
I loved the Battlefront system, and am glad to hear it will be used with LOTR. I wonder how all the melee is going to work out though.

Yes! I've been dreaming of this ever since playing Battlefront to death. Then, when Battlefront II came out, I wanted this game even more! I hope this game is as awesome as the Battlefront series... it deserves to be.

) and it will be available for The XBOX 360 , PS3 , Nintendo DS and the PC .... yay! really need a new vid card for my PC now , can't even play Lost:Via Domus

Bittersweet news. My favourite game coming out for LotR, but not for PSP, which pretty much absoloutley takes the high out of me I experienced when I first saw this post. Ah well, should be good on PC.

I hope they do the horse riding properly: like Mount&Blade! That'd be sick. The graphics look great too.

From those and other screens I've seen, it looks like you can do the SWBF Renegade Squadron thing: design your own character. That'd be cool too.

There is 4 player offline co-op and I'm assuming you could do two on twos or a one on three as well.

HOWEVER, for Tolkein purists, this may not be the best game. There are four classes: warriors, archers, scouts, and mages. Now, I know you're thinking "MAGES?" The mages have fireballs and lightning attacks (from what has been said, I'm not 100% sure). Don't worry, many of us are on the official boards campaigning for a change, which the devs claim they check all the time.

Also, it's been said that the scouts can turn invisible and plant BOMBS. I don't mind the invisible, but the BOMBS.

Anyway, if you want to make your voice heard on the official forums...

i could just except the mages but BOMBS is over the top........unless you are a uuruk hai & want to blow yourself up lol.

And on another note, I'm really happy top see this game. Although I can only get it for PC and I won't beable to multiplayer unless they do it online, which would be cool.

But with a game like that, who needs multiplayer?

But like u said with a game lik tht who needs multi player

It has been stated by the developers that it will have 16 vs. 16 online play (consoles and PC). That number may possibly change, as it may be raised.

It works? Well, that's surprising! I'm assuming Player 1 controls are the usual (W, A, S, D+Mouse 1 and 2), so what are Player 2's? If it doesn't involve a lot of "here-let-me-hug-you-so-I-can-kill-you" arm twisting type thing, it should shape out great!

I was thinking the same, I really liked killing guys just to be able to use a commander or destroyer droid.

And I hope they also put in something like "Galactic conquest" in BF2, but in a LOTR way of course. :lol:

Havent played it 4 a while but dont think mouse was used 4 narnia player1 was w,a,s,d,ctrl,shift,tab. p2 was keypad,enter,othershift,& a few others down tht end
