i was in game and they said due for release in september... lets hope it doesnt do a GTA4

I don't really like the flashy combats and Sword swings which have fire coming from it ..

I'll be getting this game when it hits the bargain bin.

Mages?
Bombs?
Frodo turns invisible to the ringwraiths in the "tag" game by putting the ring on?
Flashy fire swords?
Ridiculously quick archer shooting, with fire and poison arrows and whatnot?
King Elessar defending the inside of Minas Tirith before he was crowned?
And most of the WoMT don't even have shields, which for some reason, bothers me.

It looks like it could be fun; hell, if they left it as a fantasy game, it'd be great. But it looks like they just slapped the LoTR title on it to catch a few extra fans. To me, it's not true LoTR with all the flashy special stuff and complete disregard for Middle Earth, and that just ruins it for me.

I loved Battlefront, so I'll probably be alright with the gameplay if I refuse to see it as LoTR. What was one an uncontrollable excitement is now a disappointed disgust, though. This had a much greater potential, and it just didn't cut it in my eyes.

Graphics are rather poor, and I don't like the fiery swords etc. (and the mage

Same here lol ..... I think the Levels will look FANTASTIC!

And it's LOTR. It still needs to be tweaked, but hey, it's a start!

I'll 4th it

As others, I really like StarWars Battlefront 1 and 2 so it shouldn't be too bad. Just those things that usually let Tolkein Fans down that are the problem I think.

This game is a great let down for me. I hoped that it would be great, running around in the LOTR universe and doing unpleasant things to the enemy, but alas.

They [word deleted] up.

The only good thing ATM is the Level Design, which looks great.

They BETTER release mod tools.

Hehe I don't think this will be a very favourable opinion now. I'm sort of half-half with it now. Obviously this will not be a game for canon fans, and it probably caters to the mainstream demographic.

I have to admit the troll looks pretty damn cool, and especially when the Rogue/Thief/Dumb Class jumped on its back. The score and the level design is great as well. How many people's computers will be able to run this? We'll see.
