That Loríen archer has the worst bow-shooting pose I have ever seen. Well maybe not ever, but it is terrible.

Have to agree with you, that preview for the Gates of Mordor is awful! The other trailers potray the game in a different light. Although it won't be so realistic, I am kind of warming to the whole hack-and-slash system, with or without the mages (I won't be using them). Climbing on Trolls and Mumakil seems fun and the Pelennor fields battle looks fantastic. I only hope they include a multiplayer versus mode :roll:

oh well, its better than the bit in the RoTK game where the orcs run through the black gate XD

Wierd how all the gondorians clothing is white don't you think, and Aragorn just died, and legolas doesn't use his blades, especially when there are orcs right next to him, and most of the orcs are identical to skully, and aragorn has an axe on his back, and this list is endless :roll:

I have also noticed that during the helms deep level, you have to jump of the battlements to get to the torchbearers you have to kill - the silly thing is that you don't lose any health when you do that, but you instantly die if you go too far away from the wall - it looks stupid.

Well, I have to say, this game looked promising, but seems to be worse than I thought. maybe I'll just stick to downloading Third Age: Total War when it comes out. When is that by the way?

Apparently it's better for XBox? Is this true, because I have a PC, no XBox, so is it worth it for me?

No idea on whether it is or not - but it would really depend on the specs of your PC. Obviously a low end machine is going to catastrophically die attempting to get this game running. However higher end machines might be able to get a higher graphics output that the 360 version (I hope). The only problem is the controls - which can be easily rectified by buying a hand controller.
