Seriously though, in Gorgoroth's defence, I think he meant that the free hand looked so good it almost looked as if it was not freehand... If that makes any sense. :wink:

Pretty!!! Being able to first paint complicated freehand patterns and then to highlight and shade them realistically is just wrong... :-)

A small update, but an update all the same

I'm gonna have to finish the piece soon, I have a huge commission miniature coming up that will absorb all my painting time. I'll give you a hint; I'll be painting 40k for the first time ever :O

but the gimli guide is very good . . . im painting mine like that and i used your guide for my MOM gandalf. :-D

i could just imagine a whole high elf army painted to your high quality . . . it would be the best ever.
