Hi guys

So me and my friend are gonna have a WOTR game soon, and I thought you might be able to help make a decent army with my dwarves.

Here's what I have available:

9 companies of dwarf warriors (3 plastic boxes)
3 companies of dwarf rangers
4 companies of khazad guard (providing I include a captain, banner, and two epic heroes)
2 banner bearers
I company of vault wardens
Heroes: 2 dwarf captains, Durin, Mardin, Dain, Murin, Drar, Balin, Gimli, King's champion, Dwarf king.

Allies available: Saruman, Thranduil, a box worth of Dol Amroth knights, Galadriel, Gandalf the grey, and three companies of wood elf warriors.

Thanks

Oh yes..should have mentioned that..i think its going to be about 1500-2000 points, my friend and I haven't decided yet.

Also, I can borrow my cousin's Radagast the brown, if it helps.

Hmm... Not tonnes of guys so 1500 points might be tricky, I strongly suggest not going for anything above that mark if you want it to be competitive. How's this?

Epic Heroes:

Balin-100 points
Galadriel-175 points
Gimli-175 points

Common formations:
Knights of Dol-Amoroth, 3 companies-150 points
Dwarf Warriors with two handed weapons, 3 companies-120 points

Rare formations:
Khazad Guard, 3 companies-150 points
King's champion-175 points

Legendary formations:
Murin's Guard, 3 companies-230 points
Drar's Hunters, 3 companies-200 points

Fortune of some kind- 25 points (don't have the book on me)

Total: 1500 points, 19 might, 16 companies.

Gimli with the Knights (Epic Rampage+S4 lance charge=win). Galadriel with the Guard as she is better all-round than Balin (free epic defence per-turn will be good). And then Balin with the Dwarf warriors. All your army will be able to at-the-double reliably. Small and hard-hitting with the Khazad guard in the center and the King's Champion and Drar's hunters and the Knights Harrassing flanks.
