New WOTR Angmar Army 2,000pts

This army is in case of a rematch against dwarves and their random allies. I think the list looks good, except for the fact that i have to wait til Christmas to get the Carn Dum; but here it is:

Very nice army... If you want add a shade but keep it away from Witch-King

Never gain will a Shade go near the Witch-king. I did not appreciate 200pts of wraith getting killed by 90pts of dwarf.

I believe shades are not for battles but instead you must hide them for their abilities( Like I do wraiths in SBG...) Use just their magic

Yes, I did so in that bbattle against dwarves, it survived until the line of troops protecting it were destroyed as the Shade's movement was not fast enought to escape an ATDing King's Champion.

Shade is hard to be played in Wotr...

It is quite hard in SBG as well, because if your force breaks, he's a goner because he only has a courage of 1. Plus, in WOTR you can make it move faster by calling a heroic move. I didn't because Gothmog was killed earlier, had he not gotkilled, I could have used his might. 24" is faster than an ATDing King's Champion, but you have to have Gothmog (the only other overlords don't work because a) Saruman is too hight pts for an ally and b) Durburz only works on MM troops.

I see you have Carn-dum warbands... Very effective and I know what models I will use for them :twisted:

Ah, Carn Dum warbands. One person once described them as the crown jewel of Angmar troops. They look nice too (even though they don't have actual models) What would you use for them, the usual choice? Mohahahaha :twisted:
