So here they are done. This may be the last post for a little while unless my schedule clears.
I think the shading on khardush's cape could be better, it looks a little different in person.

So here she is, with one swarm ( they all look the same ). I did not use the typical colors, I went for a brown/black with a little red, yellow, white and green.

Stunning! The eyes don't seem ...bright... enough. Don't think that's the right word. Not shiny enough? :?

It is nice, but you should add more details to it, some highlights. The glossy varnish in the mouth is good idea.

Nice painting on the spider queen. I agree with Wah Wing on the eyes but adding some gloss varnish like you said should do the trick.

So the original intent was to have this in the december challenge but I new there was no way I would finish by Jan 2nd, too much travel and two too many kids :).
I am planning in using the winter theme though. Snowy base. The spikes, mouth and horns still need work, they only have a base coat. Most of the scales are done and I have started on the wings.
The grey blocks is cut up sprue.

He looks brilliant, I like the colour scheme. Only thing I might add would be to have the thin parts of the wings a bit lighter underneath too. Otherwise all good!
