Ok. I've got my free peoples and mordor books so I figured I'd start working on some lists with the new rules for my favorite force, the dwarves using the new book. This list is a 700 point list using some models that under Legions rules wouldn't be possible to use together. It should be fairly obvious the models in question.

Warband 1: Leader: Balin w Axe: 85 points
Followers: 4 Vault Warden Teams 100, 4 Khazad Guard 44: 144 points

Warband 2: Leader: Gimli: 90 points
Followers: 6 Warriors w Shield: 54, 4 Khazad Guard 44: 98 points

Warband 3: Leader: Shieldbearer (Balin): 60 points
Followers: 10 Warriors w Dwarf Bow: 90 points

Warband 4: Leader: Dwarf Captain w 2hw + Throwing Axe: 70
Followers: 4 Iron Guard: 60 points

697 points.

It seems a powerful list even if it has only 40 models... Maybe removing Vault warden for more Iron guard?

I haven't played my VWTs in SBG before so this gives me a chance to.

I haven't played the new rules as yet, how do they feel as a system. I've said in other posts that I don't like the feel of the warbands idea, but do you think they give more flexibility?

How does removing vault wardens for iron guard give him more models in his army? If anything it should be the other way around... Technically each person in the vault warden team is worth like 12.5pts which is cheaper than iron guard so yeah.. =\ Lol you could always remove the iron guard and get 2 more vault warden teams and another khazad guard increasing ur numbers by 1. Idk do whatever you want i just like vault wardens...

but i guess you werent talking about adding more iron guard for the extra numbers lol..

1) I didn't said he get more models, I said a) He has a very strong army even if the models are few b) Change Vault wardens for more effectiveness, not numbers.

Yeah i know i figured that.. thats why i had my little sentence at the bottom saying i guess you werent talking about the numbers. But i like vault wardens and in the games that i have played with them they have proved more effective than my iron guards =\ but that may just be me as i might not be using iron guard properly or am just using vault wardens alot better lol.
