My advise: Just don't paint the eyes and mouth, and this model will look like a feast for the eye. Sometimes, less is more.

re. eyes - try leaving the eye sockets black when you paint the skin on the face and after you've put your flesh wash or ogryn flesh or whatever wash you choose then paint 2 white dots in each eye instead of trying to paint the white first followed by a pupil. Any mistakes you make can be touched up with dark flesh and then highlighted over with the rest of the face when your happy with your eyes.

Thanks for the tip, I'm currently finishing Boromir but I'm going to try it on my next model.
