cereal - Legolas can only be hit if he is within 6" of the target so for 10pts its a fantastic upgrade. Position Legolas more than 6" behind the lines and away from other warriors and he can't be hit. The chances of a stray arrow hitting someone with an elven cloak isn't less, it is a 'stray' therefore there is just as much chance of it hitting someone else within the 6".

So, to seek to give some tactical advice-

First, make use of your archers- always shoot his, unless, of course, you can't. In which case, shoot the iron guard. Or something with a defense less than eight.

Second, and more importantly, do whatever you have to to win fights- and then kill the guy you beat. Which means mob the dwarf. You have spears, he doesn't- at least, not in a conventional sense. Employ the use of the spear plus the superior fight value to overwhelm and pick-apart the dwarves piecemeal.

Finally, I would get Celeborn in there to help mix it up- between him and his wife one can whittle down even someone like Durin's will and hold him in place while looking to kill the much more killable everyone else.

And to agree with some of the other advice you've been getting, taking two eagles wouldn't be bad, getting rid of most of the calvary would be ideal, and if you can deal with Radagast, do so, but if you can't, then kill other stuff. Radagast is no longer a threat when he is alone against a dozen elves.

Also, be sure to employ Rumil liberally- make certain that every time he gets into a fight with a hero, that hero has to burn might to draw that fight (and make certain that it would be very painful for the hero if he lost the fight- Gimli doesn't look so hot after Rumil and a half-dozen friends have beaten him to a pulp after he can't back up).

In a very general sense, that's my advice, and I hope that it helps.
