Hi,

I've been working on a harad/easterling army list but need some advice on completing it.

I have:
Amdur- for killing power, banner and might, mtd on armoured horse entry march to painting comp
the betrayer- for courage, magic and his special rule, mtd armoured horse
mtd harad taskmaster- for better use/more might entry to march painting comp
1 mtd banner bearer of harad entry to march comp
x7 serpent riders (mtd of course)

that only totals around 420pts I think, so just wondering the best use of my last 80pts??
I thought of a mtd hornblower- dont think i need the extra courage though as I have Amdur and a ringwraith, or a mtd harashrin but didn't want to take attention away from the mighty amdur, perhaps a war priest, will only be for his s6 special rule though, not to sure.
(its an all mtd force) is archery vital? I was considering not bothering as there such a great compact force together- with lances and poisened blade with betrayer's rule added on.

So what do you guys think?

You can't have a taskmaster on horse, nor Hasharin and I don't think you can have a war horn on horse. Only Easterlings benefit from Amdur as a banner, so he's next to useless in this list. At this level I would either go completely Haradrim or completely Easterling, unless you want to use a Dragon Knight instead of Amdur, which would save you 30 pts yet keep relatively the same level of hitting power. I would drop Amdur, the taskmaster and bring in more troops and a chieftan on horse. Suladan would be great in this.

Aye, just because all the Easterling heroes can be mounted, doesn't mean the Harad ones can too, Taskmasters and Hasharii cannot ride horses.

I would also say swap Amdur for a Dragon Knight, even though you haver Amdur entered into the painting challenge.

The Betrayer, Suladan and (possibly) a Harad King all on horses, each leading Serpent Riders and/or Harad Raiders, with a mounted Dragon Knight as an ally should fare you well.

You could take of Amdur's sword, give him two new ones, as his hands are positioned in so Iit could look like he is crossing his blades as defence, wich makes him look even more like a dragon knight(they can shield with their swords)

ok thanks for the info, luckily i don't play tornaments etc. and when i do play its just really casually so don't worry about allowances etc. and converted mini's dominate the board, should have said that earlier...

i have added a mounted haradrim drummer to my illigal serpent rider list

thought of bumping it up to a 750 perhaps if i need to, going to have the shadow lord mtd in there to stop things getting shot at due to their low defence, but will need a filler for 120 pts, any suggestions....?
