Well I've finally got all of the legs on and I've almost finished making the base (sorry for the low quality pictures).

great basing on the spider! Really great. It would be nice if there was a victim down beneath that fell down from the stairs in an attempt to escape.

I'm planning on placing the Frodo in webs at the bottom of the stairs.

The base is awesome. Going to make a great little story when you pop Frodo on the steps. Can't wait!

Amazing? Is it a fix model, or can you separate the base and the spider?

It was fixed to the base, that said it is in pieces again after being dropped! I should really put in some time to get it back together and finish it but I've been preoccupied with building my son's Mumak (including modifying the head position).

EDIT - Okay I've been shamed into trying to finish my Shelob! I've started gluing the legs back in place, I'll finish the rest tomorrow......

Really pic heavy but I wanted to show off the amount of green stuff I used to when putting the Mumak together. I've started painting it and have completed the skin and the wicker of the howda so far....... I'll try to get around to taking some WIP photos of the paint job.

Wow that's a lot of work, but I'm sure it'll be all the more amazing for it!

Nice job with the Mumakil conversion! I don't think i've seen a better base for Shelob before, looking forward to seeing how she turns out!

This is my 11 year old son Jude's Isengard Troll. He painted it all himself without any help from me, to say he is very proud of it would be an understatement!
