The hobbits turned out very nice!

That purple/yellowish was a great idea!

Finished some Beserkers and finally finished painting the scenery. Horrible job paining such large pieces :o
The statue on the right and the ones lying down there are old pieces which I decided to redo in this Osgiliath style.

that scenery looks awesome mate, as do the zerkers. I envy people who can do free-hand details.

Since I really like playing with fully painted army's I have this policy, paint first buy later.
I was never able to live up to this, but it's time to get some models painted once and for all!
So i made an inventory this morning of models left to paint.
Here we go:

Minas Tirith:
- 2x Aragorn
- 1x Faramir
- 1x Captain of Minas Tirith
- 1x Minas Tirith bannerbearer
- 1x Minas Tirith hornblower
- 36x Warriors of Minas Tirith
- 10x Rangers of Gondor

Rohan:
- 1x Eomer on foot
- 5x Riders of Rohan
- 8x Warriors of Rohan

Elves:
- 1x Haldir
- 6x Galadhrim knights
- 1x Galadhrim bannerbearer

Mordor:
- 1x Mordor Troll
- 3x Black Numenorean
- 11x Morannon Orc
- 4x Orc warrior

Isengard:
- 1x Sharku on foot and mounted
- 10x Uruk Hai warriors
- 4x Beserker
- 6x Crossbow

Various:
- 1x Frodo
- 8x Easterling warrior

Total of 124 models... sigh

Posted the Boromir a while ago on the member's improvement topic, but hey, why not also here.
The Sharku is this months entry to the painting challenge.

Please don't do that Dave -

Sharku looks great. Boromir is also a very sharp paint job - well done!

Can't say much about it, just a chainmail basecoat, (watered down) badab black wash, layer with chainmail and a highlight with mithril silver.

.. it might take a while for me to start communicating with the new paint names, It takes me a long time to use up a pot

Eh I still use the old names - to refer to Vallejo Game colour. xD

Whoa, its been roughly two months since I painted anything, been assembling a lot though.
I felt like doing some Gondor so here's the progress on some commanders.
