Boromir is already straight onto the to-buy list. Both are amazing releases!

A pity these are not going to be made in larger numbers as they (a) might be slightly cheaper and (b) I can think of one or two that could be used as statues for the 28mm game. Wonderful sculpts!

I don't think my skills will do justice to the Boromir or Gandalf just yet but looking at the range there is some awesome sculpts. Going to be ordering a few Marvel and Star wars ones.... so many minis such little time!

Thread necromancy here, but I wanted to share that Gandalf and Boromir are still available, and Elrond has been added to the mix. At around 50 euros each and with some not-so-hot advertising, I'm actually not exactly surprised that the limited run hasn't expired yet. Boromir still looks so awesome though--if I had the painting skills and the money, I would have purchased him by now.

So it seems that LotR will become an established range for them...wonder what model is next! Also--has anyone on OR purchased one of these fine miniatures yet? If so--please share pics! :)

Elrond looks fantastic, a great addition to the range.

I have their discontinued scout trooper on speeder bike (http://www.knightmodels.com/product.php?id_product=21) in its tin somewhere. It's superb quality, I'll post some pictures in a few days if I can access the camera.

I ordered Boromir. I couldn't resist. I will post pictures when he arrives if no-one else does (though I imagine it will take a while to get from Spain to Oz).

Master Elrond is STUNNING! And there is good old Hadhafang! (Must run down to the armoury and drag mine out for old times sake).
Beautiful sculpts that would require great skill to get the most out of. I am just not that good a painter... and the house is fit to explode with what some refer to as my 'Middle-earth mountain'. Well it's an improvement. They were calling it a midden...

Honestly, that Gollum might be my favorite of the set.

Yep, I've got Boromir. Very nice indeed. I will try to pull my finger out and get some photos posted on the weekend. He's still in the display tin and in pieces. I'll take some pics of this and then maybe/hopefully get time to stick him together and post some photos of the complete model.
