The horrid lumps on the side of the goblin in the 3rd picture are amazing - quite nauseating, they are so plausible as some dreadful disease. Yuck!
Filthy goblins - very very well done!

I love how dirty they look! Much better than GW's clean paint scheme.

I really like those goblins! 8)
Plenty better than GW's paint jobs :yay:
On the third pic down the warty, mutilated face is really good.
Excellent work 8)

Very good painting (especially the shading and I love the axe on the far left one in the first pic), but God, I'm growing to hate those bumps on their backs.

Thanks everyone, I should get the boxed starter set for the Hobbit around Christmas day so stay tuned for that. For now these are all I have to show unfortunately.

Thanks, the skin was painted like this:

base: Rakarth Flesh
wash Carrgoburg Crimson into all the recesses and around boils
wash Leviathan Purple or whatever purple wash you have into the deepest crevices.
clean up with Rakarth Flesh
Layer a bit with 1/1 Rakarth Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh
highlights with Pallid Wych Flesh
selectively dab unthinned washes with a fine detail brush around the knees, joints and random areas with whatever brown, purple, red washes you have.

I used this image as inspiration:

If GW's painters saw these, they'd feel really bad about themselves. Absolutely amazing paintjob you did there.
