You heard it and it wasn't leaked by me! I bet whoever it was on dakka will get caught up for that, interesting though. All eyes on Friday for the price-war.

I only heard about it, never actually saw the model. GW were onto the website pretty quick and had it removed.

I have to assume next month will be Azog and some additional evil reinforcements of some sort, perhaps Goblin Town drummers or something? As well as the rumored 40k Tau and Eldar flyers? Who knows, either way - looking forward to receiving White Dwarf and getting a look at those releases. They could be amazing if done right.

Men of dale would be worth a look but releasing models not yet seen on screen and no azog seems kinda weird? Surely they would wanna cash in on every character that is fresh on people's minds from watching the film would make more sense???

Men of dale were seen in the film although they only had like a minute screen time in the prolouge. Maybe they are still working on Azog. Also, why couldnt they release stats for yazneg in his box?

Smaug and saurin were also but can't see those being released yet. Iv seen a couple of fan made azogs so surely gw would pull their finger out! Lol

they are including rules in the box. and for this reason, I shall get some. maybe there will be a command option in the box like they do with the cavalry sets.

Is this an indication of a further price increase for the March releases?

Interesting that the box that contains the rules for Men of Dale only has 10 models. Is this GWs way of charging us for the rules?

Actually pricing isn't too bad for this one, price-war was referring to me always being cheaper than certain rivals xD But yes these guys coming out (whatever they may be as I can't confirm or deny anything) are cheaper than your rivendell knights and worth a look at. I've had no indication this end that the boxes come with rules but if it isn't in the hardback rulebook (somebody please check on Saturday) I would expect either rules in the box or (more likely option) a rules supplement with White Dwarf ala Chaos a while ago. I am doubtful of a full blown supplement this early in the game. I only have a handful of white dwarfs ordered this month as expecting it to be warhammer packed, but if anybody wants one please let me know asap so I can get it in and sorted.

EDIT: Other forums are going mental over the promise of rules in the box, which makes it more likely but I guess we just have to wait until White Dwarf arrives this week and we'll see where the rules are

I'm rather doubtful about the Men of Dale. While I do expect them to eventually release them this year, I wouldn't expect to see them until a Sourcebook comes out, and I definitely wouldn't expect to see them in boxes of 10. That's just insulting.
