What are we expecting to be Released in May?

Slightly more seriously: I suppose it's about time that Azog was released. I can imagine there being a few surprise releases like the past few months, too. But what, exactly... Maybe Radagast on his sled? Or something completely unexpected...

Edit: Actually, I kinda think that this month's release of Gandalf and Bilbo could be the first wave of finecast releases of the members of Thorin's Company... So maybe Thorin & Balin/Dwalin could be next?

We need a new bad guy, so Azog should hopefully be next month. I could also see some of the Company and/or the Bunny Sled.

Really hoping for the bunny sled! Lol that will just be a very fun piece to play. On Azog, I think we might see him, but from what I have been told it may be a bit still as he was sculpted last. Yazneg was originally going to be the piece for him (or so I've been told) and as such they had to sculpt and go through the whole process kinda late. All of that would make sense to me.
Anyways I hope it's some new characters because the whole 2 new Gollum and Bilbo models are Devlan Mud. And the new Gandalf is Devlan Mud. So in essence I would like GW to actually release more models worth buying, because the lack of it is making me look elsewhere for minis, and Warlord Games' "Bolt Action" has def caught my eye.

Had a chat with people in the know and Azog is definitely on his way soon. Delay is as JamesR outlined- GW knew nothing about him until very late!

Is there much else apart from Azog and a bunny sled? All the other characters and warriors are done aren't they?

Store manager at my gw said that there'll be constant releases, so not everyone can be done yet. We could be in for a few suprises I think

Anything from the second movie that would have been in the first movie when it was only two movies. So the lady elf, some dul guldur stuff, new elves, laketown, who knows!

I'm looking forward to Tauriel "the lady elf" coming out. It is the only hobbit release i plan to buy at this stage!

My money says it will be dwarves from thorins company in finecast. They have only been released as plastic in the box so far i think.

Whilst I want azog and Bunny sledge I don't think they will be next month. And the constant Hobbit releases until the next film will most likely by Thorin's Company in Finecast drip feed to us, two at time. Not even GW would be stupid enough to expect us to buy a boxset of 13 finecast models. If 4 (the white council) is £45 the price for 13 would be stupid(er).

And yes Azog as we know him was a last minute addition to the film. What we know as Yazneg was originally the character design for him but was change right at the last minute which is why in the first scenario in the Hobbit book you see a picture of Yazneg even though he is not in the participants (as its meant to be Azog).

Yes, i would like all these, Elf Knights on foot would be great, we never got knights of Dalamroth on foot either.

Also there is yet to be any Banners released for The Hobbit.

Elf knights needs to be a box of 12, with loose shields, quivers and bows. Molded with with 4 bows, 4 with swords, 4 with spears. Extra bows can go on the spear and swordsman.

Just from the first film wood elves in Armour could be made, and of course Thranduil on Stag,with Azog that would cover everything except Dwarves on ponies. Maybe Spiders too, but I think that's a stretch for this year.

I'm really excited for the Mirkwood element though. We could get new lightly armoured wood elves in addition to the armoured versions. The old wood elf miniatures are nice, but I want to see new sculpts because GWs plastics are so much better now then they were even a few years ago. At the least make some Rivendell Gusrds GW! We didn't really see the knights on foot but we did see Guardsmen all over Rivendell. I don't care if it's resin, I'll prefer plastic. I just want new elf poses

The Knights of Dol Amroth were released on foot and they are still available :rofl:

Don't think it will be Azog... Assumed that he was not planned by GW, since he was a last minute change of PJ, I wouldn't expect him before summer.

I wouldn't wonder if the rest of the company is released next, in boxes of 2 or 3 miniatures each. Quite similar to Gandalf/Bilbo... First of them probably already next month.

Radagast is a possibility, sure...

Some Mirkwood Elves would be awesome as well... Let's see...

I'd rather they took their time with Azog and got the sculpt right. I would like to see the promised sourcebook next and I also reckon that Tauriel and Legolas are both in the pipeline. And a generic hunter orc captain would be nice.

I think Azog and the Company in Finecast will be saved for later (summer maybe, to be released as a big batch) and we'll get a small release, like maybe a Hunter Orc Captain and a Fell Warg Chieftain or something (if both are possible in the rules!). I also want to see Thorin, Balin and Dwalin in flashback mode, during the Moria battle.

No Fell Warg Chieftain, but there is a Hunter Orc captain.

Judging by the Good Captains though, I don't think a Hunter Orc Captain is likely, it would have been released in January if there was one.

Azog, Bunny Sled + FC Company set will be ther last ones.

In May, something small and/or something eles w/out rules.
