I'm painting some elves at the moment and I'll be lucky to get them looking half as good as yours. Fantastic job.

Nice painting Dom. I assume the blue sword is representing the fact it is an elven blade?

That's definately one of the best renditiond of this Gandalf I've seen andlooksmuch more realistic than GW's one. :yay:

Thanks all for the comments on Gandalf.
Yes Rob, Glamdring is - as you know - an elven blade forged in Gondolin and therefore glows like Sting. The sources are a little contradictory, some saying it glows blue like Sting and some say it glows white but I figured blue would be easier to paint!
I've just finished the Great Goblin too, picture doesn't really do it justice as I had to do a fair bit of editing (and I'm rubbish at that) to bring out the detail as my camera only wanted to focus on Gandalf.

Gandalf's base looks fantastic. I absolutely love the picture with the black background with the Goblin King.
