They are from Miniatures of the North who is on these here as MOTN (http://miniaturesofthenorth.blogspot.co.uk/ http://miniaturesofthenorth.com/) but they're available through Anvil Industries (http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.ph ... ath=98_101 they were showing as out of stock from Anvil though).

Thank you, I've washed two of them as a test as well as sorting their beards and lips (though I need to change the lip colour) so I should have a bit more to show in the next couple of days.

Those Dwarves look great! Shame they're out of stock, I might have picked some up. The Dark Lord demands followers, after all.

Could I be a bit cheeky and ask how they measure up next to some of the GW minis? Are they of a similar stature to the other Dwarves? Their proportions look great at least, which is a rarity in fantasy miniatures. Too often otherwise suitable models end up with fingers the size of their heads or something daft. :D

And the whole collection as a whole is very impressive. I'm a teensy bit jealous.

He does indeed :sauron:
They are in scale with the rest of the LOTR range and I'll take a couple of snaps for you when I grab the camera tomorrow.

Those Fallen Dwarves are wondeful sculpts - unmistakably dwarvish with no, let's say clichéd features. The have that geometric styling that fits very well into Middle-earth.
And the paint job is magnificent! Love the banner!

I also really like them. I'm not so keen on the shields to be honest, but the models themselves are exactly how I'd imagine fallen dwarves to look.

And your paint job has certainly done them justice. The rust on the metal pulls them together beautifully.

Here's a quick update as the batteries on the camera were running out.
First up is the command group painted up and awaiting a wash, secondly is a standard Fallen Dwarf who has had a wash (they are all at this stage now):

Tomorrow I'll get those scale shots as promised and perhaps a couple of the finished unit depending on how much I get done.

Looking good! I really do enjoy seeing people painting up my sculpts.

I've just emailed Anvil a few minutes ago about Dwarf availability. I'll probably get my own new Dwarf stuff into production in the new year.

Another day of painting so another update, the first unit is completed bar needing a varnish and some flock on the bases but all the painting is done:

And here's my attempt at some 'arty' photography, not sure if it worked all to well but let me know what you think:

Finally here are a couple of scale shots, as you can see the Fallen Dwarves are in perfect scale (and boy that Black Numenorean is a big chap):

C&C welcome as always :sauron:

Very very cool! I like the paint style across all the factions.

I'll need to get you some casts of the new stuff at some point to say thanks.

They really look great and they are in perfect scale. Yes the Black Numenoreans are huge out of scale really.

Oh those are absolutely perfect.

If they ever get back in stock I'm picking some up.

I actually like the size of the Black Numenoreans. Numenoreans are supposed to be tall, and i imagine that long years under Sauron woukd have twisted them even further.

They're well worth it and I agree about the Black Numenoreans, nothing like them standing over a Gondorean before smiting them down ;)

Cheers and that is mighty kind of you but the more people see them the better, they are a fantastic range and (as I've said numerous times) I'm really looking forward to the new sculpts.

I'll probably have an update next weekend when I hope to have another unit done (well the second part of this one), then it'll be the same again after them and then on to the crossbows.
