8 stormcallers, why is that an ultimate list? Sure it seems fun, but hardly practical, all the opposition needs is plenty of archery, or a Balrog.

The Balrog would be ideally suited to taking this list out (and I don't mean for dinner) it has resistant to magic and 10 will, enough to negate the magic shenanigans, and also when he gets into combat he could just hurl them at each other creating a atmospheric irony about the whole situation :P

Balrogs were bad before the Monster rules. Now that they can hurl, rend, and barge, they are actually pretty terrifying and effective units. They would wreck this list easily. Then again, I cant imagine too many lists that wouldn't easily destroy this list. 8 storm callers wouldn't have a chance to win against pretty much anything. I'd even bet Hobbits would beat the list. If it is for fun, then I understand though.

Well if you somehow managed 8 channelled natures wraths, the destruction would be awesome and hilarious. But once that happens you'd pretty much be done.

An army that is entirely resistant to magic is actually quite neat against one consisting of nothing but magic. :P
