I did a bit more painting for my Army of Thror. It seems to be coming along nicely. Anyhew, here's the latest of my works. 2 more boxes and the mighty King Thror left. More pictures of these guys are posted on my blog. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks...

So it's been awhile since I've posted anything here. I've been working on my Warhammer armies more than LoTR stuff lately BUT..... with my nephew's birthday on the horizon and him begging me to paint him the Fellowship for the past year, I decided to complete this little project for him.

Hopefully my nephew will like them. I'm personally not a fan of the MoM starter box plastics, but I think they came out pretty good.

I took a ton of photos, so If you guys want to see more, check the link below. Thanks for looking!

I have this display which I painted in my early hobby days, it will look very sad against your wonderful version. He wouldn't be proud to receive that ?

The fellowship look awesome, never would think the plastic set would look good. The display stand is great too, what better way to have the fellowship models.

Sorry about not answering anyones questions, I've recently come off a 4 month hiatus from painting, so I've been out of it for alittle while. The bases for the dwarves are from Secret Weapon. Ancient Ruins or something along those lines.

So up first we got my latest work.... Bolg, Castellan of Mount Gundabad. He was a tricky, but fun model to paint. I'm not used to painting pale skin, so it was challenging, but turned out fairly decent.

Next up is Beorn, which I did right before my hiatus but never posted here. Again, another fun model to paint.

And lastly some hobbit command, because for some reason I love painting hobbits. They're quick to paint and small enough where your mistakes barely show up without looking thru a magnifying glass.

Let me know what you guys think. As always, more pictures at my blog. Thanks for looking

Great work all round. I really like your Beorn in man form, the face is the stand out piece for me. Look forward to seeing more in future.

Lovely work all around.

The Dwarves are very inspiring, I have a box to build up and paint. The muted colours are perfect for them (same goes for the Hobbits), but they do not look bland, which is the oftenmost associated risk with muted tones!

Great work!
