Ok lets see what you awesome people can come up with. The dark lord Sauron :sauron:

wants a force with mainly morranons, at least one shaman, a beefy combat hero and no mordor orc scum. Ls see what you've got. Tr500pts to start and work around form there.

Knight of Umbar on fellbeast, Shaman, Taskmaster + Morannon should work fine.

I painted up a Morannon themed 750pts force last year. Its mainly aimed and brute force, But I also have the option of swapping out heros for the extars i've painted up, Kardush, Taskmaster & Drummer.

Im not agreeing with Sithious' entire list(not that its bad, its good) but I whole heartedly agree, to take Shagrat war leader. Hes so much more worth it for the points than other combat leaders in mordor.

@Sithious I'm assuming the 3 Morannon Orcs with spears are meant to be in the Shamans warband given the Castellan is an independent hero?

My bad on the placement of the spears. I meant to show the relationship that I would use in the game, regardless of which warband they arrive in, the spearmen would help secure the castellan so he can deliver that killing blow to whomever is most deserving.

I do like Gothmog's list as a very pure list with an extra captain role to help call actions.
