Hello everyone, just a quick update on how it's looking at the moment, been getting a lot done on him this week. I'll put some better pictures up soon when I get further with the base. The left leg is still in the very early stages.

Oh and the base isn't too clear in the pictures, but he's going to be standing on a ruined pillar amongst lots of flames.

Ditto. I'm more interested in this than the GW Smaug

Some sterling work has gone into this sculpt and I'm really looking forward to seeing it finished.

Hey guys, here's just a quick few photos of the dragon as it's looking at the moment.

I also had a bit of a play around running a couple couple of very rough test casts (hence the air bubbles) of the head in polyurethane resin if you are interested in seeing those as well. I'm looking to to get hold of some vacuum equipment so I can cast him up properly when he's finished.

Quick update of the dragon, aiming to get him completed and begin moulding by the end of next week.

Are the wings finished ? Great position for them but I'm concerned about the creases that look likes crumpled paper ?
I hope it's the photo or just WIP.

Hi Gandlaf, no far from it, this was done to give a base for the shape and provide an armature; I'll post a pic tomorrow of how they're looking currently as I'm quite chuffed with them.
