Hi everyone!

I have decided to finally start a WIP of my own! :-D So far on this forum I have mainly been focusing on my Rohan supplement that I am making on, but now I would like to show some of my work and what I've got:

The OOP Heroes of Helm's Deep set (I'll be entering the Aragorn into this months challenge)

And a Déowine conversion with no arm...

Déorwine's horse. (It's my first try at sculpting) :D

This is how the horse's saddle started life.

I have completed the Horse and added the arm to Déorwine already and I hope to post them soon, I also will show some of my models that I am painting! Thank you for looking. :-D

Any comments for good or bad are welcome!

For your first sculpting work the saddle is really well done indeed! Does the rider still fit on though? And what is the small bit of Green Stuff near the horses mouth?

DMS: Thanks! In that photo its not quite finished, I have added more reins and things like that. :-D

Son of Fundin: Thank you. :D I did a test and the rider does still fit, the first time I sculpted it he didn't fit and I wasn't to happy about my sculpt so I decided to redo it. The green stuff by his mouth is a sort of clasp like on other horses, maybe in a different angle you could see it better! :rofl:

Here is the completed horse. I'm very happy with how it turned out, seeing it was my first try. Any advice on how I could improve on the next one would be much appreciated. Hope you like it! :)

Wonderful pose on top of the Orc.
My only point I can think of is it looks slightly thick for a blanket, the pattern looks deep were as a painter I would look for something less defined. I like the rear strap but not the one over the top and around the tail.
Excellent first effort :yay:
