We're Back! Mostly

Hi everyone and welcome back to the One Ring.

As you can see, I've managed to get the site back without losing any forum posts or memberships, but please note:

Some parts of the site won't work just yet!

The extra features Iwe all enjoy are all uninstalled currently (gallery, article library, chatbox, etc) and I am fixing things one by one, so I will bring them back again gradually over the next few days.

Just want to thank you for this site. It is nice to visit someplace on the web where comments don't immediately turn to differences on politics or sports but instead remain for the most part positive and constructive.

Is there a PayPal account associated with the one ring to show my appreciation and support for the cost that there must be to keep it running?

Thanks guys for showing your appreciation. This community means a lot to a very large section of the hobby community and seeing it out of action for so long is a bit heartbreaking.

I know it took me a long time to get it back again, but I was trying really hard not to lose the incredible wealth of images and articles that we have gathered over the years.

Thanks to everyone, especially Dead Marsh Spectre and UKFreddyBear for keeping faith with me while I worked out how to resurrect the site.

Many thanks for resurrecting the site basically intact - I know just how much 'fun' it can be when databases get messed up or something else behind the scenes goes bananas.

okie dokie. I've installed the gallery software, now I am going to restore the existing images. Please be patient while this feature comes back on stream.
