The first new model for War of the Rohirrim has been revealed, Wulf, the leader of the Dunlendings:

After a quiet year, it's a pretty exciting time at the moment with the new Rohirrim models following so quick after Angmar!

The foot model of Wulf looks to be leaning off to one side quite a lot ... I wonder if he is designed to be duelling a Hera model in an opposing pose.

That would be cool if Hera was posed in a similar way.

I like the look of this new model!

My wallet still hasn't recovered from the recent pre-orders ... but I expect to pick up Wulf as well.

How do y'all feel about the War of the Rohirrim trailer? I have to confess to finding the it disappointing. The low frame rate and the seemingly exaggerated anime proportions just didn't seem very Tolkienian to me. I'll hold off final judgement until I've actually seen the movie, of course, but it was weird to find a trailer discouraging rather than getting me fired up. Just me?

Ironically, perhaps, I can still enjoy getting a new sourcebook, models, and scenarios covering another part of the 3rd age!

JRR must spin when he senses this Trailer. The character of the princess is fine, but they she is drawn just doesn't feel right in my book. Not that I could afford her or Wulf anyway.
