True, but is this cause or effect? A system that gets very little magazine space, no advertising...and very low interest in most of their stores...will suffer
Oh absolutely, I'm not saying they're blameless at all, I think it's a cycle, sales fell off inevitably as the memory of the movies faded, GW gave the system less support, thanks to that sales fell off more, they supported it less, sales fall off more etc. What I meant was that as they are clearly not giving SBG as much support as their big 2, at least they're no longer claiming that they are by giving it equal billing on the cover. I actually found that quite misleading last year.

So, to make matters even worse, it looks as if the new monthly mag will be A5 format. Had a feeling that may be the case, looking at the price and page count, but still a disappointment.
Really? Urgh, that's annoying, hadn't heard that. Supposedly it's going up to £7.50 too, that would well and truly price me out of the market. I haven't thought much of WD for some years now but it was still thick enough and reasonably priced enough to warrant picking up an issue or two every now and again, however little real content there was. If it really is £7.50 for a 100 page version of the current WD then that's a big no from me. I'm quite intrigued by the weekly though, the fact that they're putting rules in it again is a nice touch and if there's other similar gaming content then I could be swayed. I'll certainly be popping down to GW on Saturday to give them both a flick through before making up my mind though.
