What is wrong with GW??? they raised the prices of the finecast foot & and mounted miniatures to 36$ that's almost 10$ more than what they were in metal!! how the heck do they justify that?? it's starting to become where you have to be an adult and have a full time job to be able to afford this hobby (and that still may not be enough)......

They are high .

They justify it as follows: people buy the mini anyway! Don't forget, charging disproportionate prices isn't a crime, sadly, so they don't have to justify anything so long as people buy them. I think the excuse for the price rise to the public is that they compensate for inflation, raised wages, higher VAT etc., it's just that added up, these don't come in at the added percentage, but a lot lower (at least in Holland).

GW has reached beyond ridiculous for the prices of some of their models, including the 'great' half-boxes idea. You also haver to remember the licensing fee, which is quite hefty. And the money they use to build more stores (in the UK).
