For those who are interested, there will be at least few Hobbit/Lotr bundles for sale this friday. Even though evidence for this is pretty solid i guess this still counts as rumor as they haven't officially revealed this one yet. Online offers: Heroes of Mirkwood Men of Lake-town Champions of Erebor Mûmak Warherd http://imgur.com/a/gbVqJ |

It likely won't be worth it. From the prices of the ones we know the contents of, it's a small savings on a large, set assortment. There will almost certainly be things people don't need or want in them and saving $30-50 when spending $300-400 doesn't make up for that. Sorry to be the Grinch. |

Also, to counter those on the Facebook group who believe the Mumak Herd will contain 3 of the beasts, in Canadian dollars the set is $285 whereas 3 Mumakil costs $356.25. There's no way they're giving us a deal that great. It will likely be 2 Mumakil and a couple extra sets of infantry or cavalry. |

I wish that champions of Erebor deal was going to be available in the US. Especially if we went with the EU rate they have listed there of €130. At the current exchange rate that's only about $138. Was $190 when they listed it last year in the states. |

Probably nothing spectacular, but still nice to see GW to do this sort of thing. First time i see it! And if someone was anyway thinking to get Champions of Erebor it wont hurt to save 35¢ Those are some insanely pricey mini's... |

35c ? The saving is 35c ? Wow if I buy 100 boxes I can save enough to get a hero to lead them! |

3 Mumak herd for £145 in the UK. Not too bad if you wanted three mumakil! |

Yeah, I was wrong about the savings. These bundles are a better deal compared to most of the 40K ones! |

Anyone want to go for 1/3 or 2/3 of a Mumak herd? |

So who ended up taking advantage of these deals? I grabbed the Champions of Erebor bundle, and am almost tempted to let GW know that I did it only on the basis of the savings from that offer. I figure some positive feedback is only going to encourage deals in the future. |

I passed, although that deal was tempting. Renedra had 25% off and free posting so I picked up another hut for my Haradrim to fight over and some ruins for Osgiloth. Ordered Friday arrived Monday, not bad! JDE |

Not a bad set of deals if you need/want what they were offering. Unfortunalty, I had foolishly already bought the Heroes of Mirkwood and Champions of Erebor packages, I would not mind picking up another Mûmak but I certainly don't need three of the things, and the Men of Lake-town are so far down my list of things to buy that they get a pass, too. |
