Do you guys use any texture or base paints of GW? If so can you send me show me some pictures of bases done with them? I particularly wonder about the Lustrian Undergrowth

The base paints are intended for basecoats, not for base painting. They are like the old Foundation paints.

Can't say anything about texture paints, I haven't yet tried those.

I often use texture paints for my basess

In my opinion, it doesn't really matter which colour you pick, as for a good result you'll wanna paint over it and drybrush it a few times (in the pic above I drybrushed with multiple browns). I genuinely like the texture paints and I would recommend them. Just be sure to use a minimum of two coats for optimum texture - one coat isn't enough!

How long does it take for a texture paint to dry enough for dry-brushing?

I prefer to leave sand and PVA glue to dry overnight but sometimes when the inspiration strikes, that's a bit long time... :-)

Not that long, actually. More or less the same as normal paints, maybe slightly longer. i tend to leave it around 30 mins for good measure though and it turns out fine :)
