LotR and WotR articles for individual factions are gone. I was looking at the Harad paint schemes yesterday, all gone today! |

I wonder why they did that? I will just have to google other painting guides as I am only 1/2 way through painting my armies and still have loads to do... Oh well. Not really sure what they are doing, but I do wonder if I should continue this hobby! |

Maybe, just maybe, they're going to put them in the new rule book? Maybe planning to bring out a 'how to paint lotr miniatures; guide... oh all these speculations :/ |

Generally if something is removed from the website, it appears again in a different format or in a diiferent place shortly after- the sky doesn't often fall... |

I imagine if they are going to take the effort in taking them off, they will take the effort of putting it out there again in either hard copy or a different format. |

They most probably be included on the upcoming books, which is a nice move, although I would like to see more than what was presented with the articles. |

There are rumours they are revising the paint range. |

Troll-king wrote: There are rumours they are revising the paint range. How pointless...the only revision necessary is a price reduction. Who wants to start taking bets that they'll increase the price, and reduce the size? |

Considering I have from a very good source that they're switching from a Chinese supplier to one in Michigan I believe, the quality SHOULD be better. |

Dezartfox wrote: Troll-king wrote: There are rumours they are revising the paint range. Bingo! As if this would be a valid reason to remove the articles. It's really stupid and not customer friendly at all. Shall we all throw our colours in the garbage or what? |

Where is this source from? And no we shouldn't throw away all our colours. But eventually we will use them all up and it will be replaced by this range. |

I can't officially say since it would threaten the guy's job but it's someone who's well in the know of this. |

Paint range revision makes a lot more sense than including them in the new LoTR books because they also took down almost all the Fantasy and 40,000 painting articles. |

I have heard that GW will be releasing a bunch of new colors, and I bet they will rename a few. Ultramarine blue is not a unique moniker as an example and GW seems to like unique names. (scorched brown=burn umber, tallarn flesh etc.) |

The real reason is far less buisnessy than that (even if they do release new colours). Most of them use colours that ar eno longer sold by Games Workshop and/or are outdated. |

All the citadel color paint in the octagon bottles were made in france. The foundation colors were made in china. I do not have any of the new bottles( i.e. foundation style) of citadel color paint so I can not check the made in * on those. |
