I have some models that are badly painted including Khamul and some Khandish Horsemen that were undercoated with a really thick, shiny, sticky black acrylic undercoat which I want to remove before repainting but don't really know how. Could any of you help me with this? Thanks in advance |

Soak them in a cup of nail varnish remover (acetone) then gently scrub with an old tooth brush. Only works on metal minis though so dont use it for plastics as it will melt them. |

Simple green works well, or dettol. Search the forums, there's lots of topics about stripping mini's. |

Nail varnish remover? Only gonna be stripping metal models as it happens. EDIT: @avenger, Ah, b they are about normal paint, I mean an extra thick, extra sticky paint that will nbe more difficult. And what is simple green. And by dettol do you mean soap? |
